The Reservoir is located 15 miles east of Salem, and 2 miles east of Silverton.  This 65 acre reservoir features a boat ramp, ADA-accessible fishing pier, and a picnic area.

From Salem, travel east along OR-213 N to downtown Silverton, approximately 16 miles.  Turn left onto Main St, then right onto OR-214 S/south Water St, approximately 0.1 miles.  Continue along OR-214 for 2.3 miles, then turn right onto Silver Lake Dr, NE.  The parking lot is another 0.3 miles down this road.

Silver Creek is a local trip for the fly club, which we time for after one of the first plantings of rainbow trout for the year.  There is a charge for parking, and the machine will only accept a card.  The lot is very small, so most people try to arrive early before many people arrive, but after the gate has been unlocked.  Gate hours are seasonal.
