DATE CHANGED Annual Auction: Thursday, February 16, 7:00 pm at Pringle Community Building, 606 Church St., Salem. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Due to significant flooding in Salem, Pringle Creek over ran its banks in Pringle Park, flooding the park and rising the water level to 2-1/2 feet above grade. The Pringle Community Building (where we hold our meetings) was flooded, and the foot bridge over the creek from the parking lot was shifted downstream.
Salem Parks and Recreation staff have been working diligently to clean up the park, repair the foot bridge, and make the Community Building usable again. However, we have been notified that that work may not be completed by our regular meeting date. Therefore, the Board decided to move the February meeting/auction to Thursday, February 16.

In addition to our continuing Bugology 101 session before our feature presentation, we'll be starting our pre-meeting casting clinic on the Pringle Creek lawn starting at 6:15 p.m. with club vice-president and FFF certified casting instructor Dwight Klemin. Bring your rod and get your casting back in shape.
Outing: Saturday, March 17. Lower Deschutes River float from Pine Tree to Beavertail.
