About Us

Who We Are
The Santiam Flycasters, Inc. is a group of men, women, and youths in the Salem area who have a common interest in fly fishing and have joined together to share their experiences and knowledge of the sport. The club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in March of 1977. The Santiam Flycasters, Inc. is affiliated with the Federation of Fly Fishers.

We meet the second Thursday of each month at the Pringle Park Community Center at 606 Church St (behind the Salem Hospital). Meetings start at 7:00 pm and run until about 9:00 pm.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Santiam Flycasters to promote the sport of fly fishing for interested individuals of all generations now and into the future by fellowship, education, conservation practices, promoting research, guardianship of proper regulations, and affiliation with other like-minded organizations.
